The KAUST Cookbook collects recipes and personal accounts from members of the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology community. Contributors represent 60 nationalities.
Melanie Balkner-Zielke, Philippa Arkley, and Eric Bakken developed the book over five years. They cooked with more than 200 community members and documented the recipes and food traditions contributors shared.
The book works as both a practical recipe collection and a record of daily life in KAUST’s international community.
