Also known as bergtee, or mountain tea, this tea is closely related to Rooibos as both plants are from the Fabaceae family. This herbal infusion from South Africa is made by steeping dry honeybush leaves in boiling water. It is naturally both honey-sweet and caffeine free and has gained worldwide popularity due to its several medicinal and therapeutic properties, namely the presence of beneficial plant compounds that have antioxidant activity as well as small amounts of calcium, iron, and zinc. While there are currently no known side effects of honeybush tea, it is best to consult your healthcare provider before consumption as it may interact with drug-metabolizing enzymes and affect the therapeutic window of drugs.

Good tea. I'm a long-time tea drinker and the quality here is evident. The Honeybush has a pleasant caffeine-free note. Sometimes a bit mild for my personal preference but still very good.

Really, really good tea. The Honeybush has a refined sweet character that you don't find in supermarket teas. The leaves are whole and intact — you can see the quality.

It's a perfectly fine Honeybush. The caffeine-free character is there but I wish the mild was more pronounced. I tend to prefer a bolder cup. Still, fresh leaves and fair pricing.

Nice everyday tea. The honey is pleasant and it brews consistently well. I go through a bag every few weeks. Good quality for the price point.

Really nice Honeybush. The smooth flavor is authentic and well-balanced. I usually drink Harney & Sons tea but this compares favorably. Will definitely reorder.
